THE OTHER SIDE OF MADNESS

 

Made from doweling and beads.

This work was made after visiting the Hooge Crater War Museum in Belgium.

The bullets and other armoury were arranged so they became beautiful.

COLOUR IN A SHAPE

Free standing sculpture. Weighs about 1 kg. 

27 cm wide. 33 cm high, including base. 6 cm deep.

Dowel. And paint and dye and polish.

FOR ONCE THEN SOMETHING

 

This is a free standing sculpture made from wood.

It is 50 cm wide, 19 cm high. The depth of the base is 20 cm. It weighs about 5 kg.

One of the pieces incorporated is the inside dividers for  an old wooden box for glass slides.

THE ANSWER IN THEIR EYES

A free standing sculpture made entirely from scrap wood and metal pieces.

 

THE TOWER  stands just 45 cms and is about 18 cms in depth. Beads, parts of plugs, fuses and drawer knobs make up the faces.

 

 

ANTICIPATION

 

 

Recycled CHINESE wooden broom handles and nothing else.

The Locks She Made

 

 

 

 

Made from recycled scraps of wood. The Chinese dowel of course, a cot, old sculpture pieces. The plinth was from a skip.

               INSIDE OUT

 

INSIDE OUT is made from dowel.  It could be closed - each side has protrusions that fit perfectly into the dips on the other half.

                          Brief Tragedy

 

 

Dowel.

The narrower rods are wicker from an old wicker chair. They have just enough of a slight bend in them to look as if they're being pulled apart which was what I wanted.
